Dr. Allison Greene, D.C., Ac.

Dr. Greene is a Colorado licensed, board certified chiropractor and acupuncturist through the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. She emphasizes best-evidence based chiropractic techniques while maintaining Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) theory and it’s applications to heal her patients. She employs gentle, yet highly effective methods to provide the highest quality chiropractic and acupuncture therapies. This includes many chiropractic, and muscle relaxing techniques, as well as meridian therapy, cupping, gua sha, auriculotherapy (ear acupuncture), physiotherapy, and rehabilitation methods using her knowledge of alignment, posture, fitness, dance, yoga, meditation, and Pilates.
She is a graduate of New York Chiropractic College (NYCC), magna cum laude and a member of the Phi Chi Omega Chiropractic Honor Society. Prior to graduation, in 2006, she studied in the Master’s Program for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine for one year, and tutored peers in neuroscience, anatomy, and clinical laboratory science at NYCC. She has been an apprentice in TCM to Ke Zang, L.Ac. since 2006. In 2008, Dr. Greene opened a successful integrated clinic in Kirkland, WA. In 2015, she spent a year in China and then relocated to beautiful, sunny Colorado. Traveling with her family in China, she deepened her knowledge of TCM, Mandarin, and Chinese culture. She is passionate about helping patients realize their health goals and resolve pain.
Path to Chiropractic
Dr. Greene grew up in New York City where she studied ballet at Neubert Ballet School at their Carnegie Hall studios from age 5 to 14 and attended the Fiorello H. LaGuardia, High School for the Performing Arts. In 1997, she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Pre-Medicine from the State University of New York (SUNY) at New Paltz. During her summers at SUNY, New Paltz she studied Intensive Ballet for Modern Dancers and Advanced Modern Dance Technique with Ms. Debra Noble. There, Ms. Noble introduced her to Hatha yoga asanas, Pilates, guided meditation, mindfulness, and other mind-body, and breathing techniques which are an integral part of her life and practice.
After and during her undergraduate education, she worked in hospital and university bio-medicine laboratories, and finally as a Chiropractic Assistant to the amazing Dr. Laura Ramirez in Burlington, VT. Working with Dr. Ramirez, she realized her future career, and applied to the graduate program at New York Chiropractic College where she graduated with her doctorate in chiropractic medicine in July 2007 and she has been practicing ever since.
